    PRE-HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN FINAL MEETING


    Grady County and the cities of Cairo and Whigham are updating the Grady County Pre-Hazard Mitigation Plan as required by the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 to help reduce vulnerability to natural and non-natural hazard events. 


    A public hearing is scheduled for Grady County and the cities of Cairo and Whigham at  6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Grady County Board of Commissioner’s Office,  33 17th Avenue NW, Cairo, Georgia 39827, to hear public comments regarding the plan before submission to the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA).
