NADTC Announces 2024 Rural Community Innovations Grantees

This grant program will support rural Georgia communities’ economic development efforts and maintain and improve a healthy Georgia population by leveraging funding assistance from the USDA RD to key Administration priorities, such as advancing racial equity place-based growth, and opportunity by ensuring rural residents in the most distressed communities in Georgia have equitable access to RD programs and benefit from RD funded projects.

 Southwest Georgia Regional Commission has declared the following vehicles as surplus and will accept SEALED BIDS until Friday, November 22, 2024 @ 3:00 p.m. at the office of the SWGRC, 181 East Broad Street (USPS mail to: PO Box 346), Camilla, Georgia, 31730. Georgia AIM Week in Southwest Georgia

Suzanne Angell, Executive Director and Babara Reddick, Deputy Director participated in the Rural Partners Network Georgia Community Partner Forum held Thursday, August 15 at Ft. Valley State University Agriculture Technology Center.

Southwest Georgia has once again demonstrated its commitment to community development by securing a substantial percentage of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for 2024, approximately 24% . We are proud to congratulate the nine recipients of this year’s awards. These communities will embark on critical infrastructure and improvement projects that will significantly enhance the quality of life for their residents.
