Mickey O'Brien, PLA, LEED AP - Senior Project Manager
Mickey O’Brien manages AECOM’s Urban Design and Landscape Architecture practice in Atlanta. He has 30 years of experience working with local municipalities in the planning, design, and implementation of safe active modes of transportation as well as park and community planning.
He is a leader in the design and implementation of complete street conversion projects incorporating non-motorized facilities and integrating green infrastructure within his projects.
Due to his knowledge and experience in streetscape and complete street conversion project experience, he was selected by GDOT to write their Pedestrian and Streetscape Guide, which was published in 2018,
As a resident of Atlanta for over 30 years, he was born and raised in South Georgia, which provides him both small town and big city perspectives on infrastructure projects regarding scale and specific needs. FUINDING SOURCES
