FYI VOUCHERS FOR THE FOSTER YOUTH TO INDEPENDENCE INITIATIVE​

Under FYI, Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) provide housing assistance on behalf of:

 

Youth at least 18 years and not more than 24 years of age (have not reached their 25th birthday) who left foster care, or will leave foster care within 90 days, in accordance with a transition plan described in Section 475(5)(H) of the Social Security Act, and are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless at age 16 or older.

Patricia Fletcher-Edwards loves to encourage, motivate, and inspire people. She is a motivational speaker, HUD Certified Housing Counselor, Financial Solutions Coach, and life skills coach dedicated to teaching success strategies.


Patricia graduated from Florida A&M University and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Alongside her husband, she owns Fletcher-Edwards Realty, LLC. She holds multiple certifications, including Loss Mitigation Specialist, Credit & Budget Counselor, and Commercial & Residential Purchasing Specialist. Patricia is the Branch Manager of Albany & Southwest Georgia NID-Housing Counseling Agency, a HUD-approved national intermediary. 


As the founder and CEO of B.E.S.T., Inc. (Being Empowered Successful & Trained), she provides financial solutions coaching to empower individuals. Patricia is also co-Pastor of Artesian Christian Center in Albany, Georgia, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
