The draft Transit Development Plan (TDP)
is now available for public comment!


The Draft Transit Development Plan for Southwest Georgia is now available for public comment on the Southwest GA Regional Commission TDP project website. Four documents comprise the complete TDP:

 

The public review period will be open for 30 days, closing April 24, 2023, at 11:59 PM. The public is encouraged to provide input on the draft TDP by sending all comments and questions to RegionalTDP@dot.ga.gov with "Southwest Georgia TDP" in the subject line. Please help us spread the word!

Titles are clear and immediately available, and vehicles are available for inspection at the above address. The minimum bid is set at $750.00. The highest bidder above the minimum will be awarded the vehicles upon the presentation of funds. Please bid on each vehicle separately : 2007 Ford Five Hundred (Gray), V-6, automatic, approximately 114,000 miles, good condition 2007 Ford Five Hundred (White), V-6, automatic, approximately 102,000 miles, good condition Vehicles are presented as is, where is, and with no warranties or representations. Southwest Georgia Regional Commission Receives National Association of Development Organizations 2023 Impact Award

The Southwest Georgia Regional Commission is actively seeking grants to improve the livability of Region 10 communities. Recently, three cities - Colquitt, Doerun, and Funston - were awarded grants from the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) amounting to approximately $5.3 million ($5,258,297.00). The grants will have a positive impact on the region by, Improving water, sewer, and drainage systems Developing housing, rehabilitating blighted properties and housing Provide assistance to around 200 low-to-moderate-income families To learn more about each grant and how it will benefit each community, please read on.
